Unfortunately you are right to be worried. With the current recession thousands of well qualified people are losing their jobs at the moment in the UK. Perhaps your qualifications are well suited to a particular demand where candidates are in short supply. I hope so. Good luck

In order to obtain a work visa, you will have to return to the USA and apply from there. Visas are almost impossible to get at the moment as companies have to offer jobs to UK then EU citizens first. If you can find a company based in the US with a UK base you can get them to sponsor a visa for you stating that you are the only person who can do that job. You cannot work for more than 20 hours a week on a student visa.

MBA or MSc in International Management?
I have been accepted to WVU's MBA in Finance and have been accepted to Royal Holloway, University of London's MSc in International Management. Which one would you choose and why?

It depends on your career goals. The MBA is a general degree that trains students to become managers at any level in business up to CEO. The MS is a specialized degree that concentrates on a single field and trains students for high level staff or research positions. Consult the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It's the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.
