Is there any point in doing a " ISTQB software testing course(foundation)?" at start of my career

Is there any point in doing a " ISTQB software testing course(foundation)?" at start of my career?
Have B.Tech in Computer Science, MSc In Business Management, Have been working for a company as database researcher, and basic IT supporter for the past 8 months, now looking for some thing serious(kick start), any career ideas please... If any, sources for fresh graduate jobs, weblinks etc. will be well appriciated! Also have ideas of giving a ISTQB foundation software testing exam, good idea or not? comments please. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the ISTQB is very impressive if you do well. My company, Google, hires people on the spot if they have a good score on the ISTQB.
